We gave up on trying to salvage the old stove and picked up an original Magic Chef stove from another Santa Fe. This was virtually perfect and had never, if ever, used. No more colourful pink in the turquoise and white mix.  Here I am just finishing her up.

Installed and ready for use. Actually, Margie has already made a few meals on it just to see how well it works. It works ALMOST as good as the one in the kitchen in the house.

Looks pretty good in there.
