Well, Margie and I rang in the new year with a trip to a local camp site. Prado Dam in Chino, Ca. Spent 4 fun, but very COLD days there. As many of you already know, there is almost "NOTHING" better than vintage camping.

We had a visitor New Years Eve. Cheryl had gone to the restroom and on her way back to the party she had to pass our trailer. When she stepped into the tent she asked if we had someone in our trailer. Nope, we did not. So, off we go to have a look. There next to the right rear wheel was a skunk!!  The little critter was dining on the cast offs that Margie had tossed into the trash. (Yep, I forgot to place the can inside or, at least, empty it. Well, he had one look at me and my companions and up went his tail. Not one to change my cologne at this point in my live, I decided to take a few steps back. Fortunately, he decided he did not like our company and retreated to the safety of a local field.

Here are a few photos from the week end.

Monday Morning. Cold but still loads of fun.

Me (Bob) enjoying the start of another day of camping.

What a neighborhood to awake to. Closed out 2012 and rang in 2013 here.

Covered in ice. But who cares and long as you are camping?

Friends trailer. It's a '57 Westerner. Cute and fun little trailer.

Margie and me on the left. Chris Baas and Cheryl Gonzalez on the right. Two of our closest friends. It was freezing outside but we are in an easy-up with sides added. Add a Mr. heater and it was toasty warm in there.
